Hello, my name is Marisa Ingemi, and I am the founder and reporter at Valkyries Beat.
I covered the Valkyries inaugural season and was moved by how engaged this audience is, and I want to bring you dedicated coverage worth paying for. I have been a sports reporter for more than 10 years, originating as an NHL reporter in Boston before I moved to San Francisco to cover women’s sports.
Now, I write about women’s sports at a myriad of outlets: I cover the LA Sparks for the Los Angeles Times and national women’s sports for The IX and Her Hoop Stats.
