Miela Sowah was back at practice after signing a developmental deal with the team on Wednesday morning.
“You can feel her energy and positivity,” Valkyries head coach Natalie Nakase said of Sowah. “You feel her wanting to be here so much, her work ethic, her just being a great teammate, and she really wants to do whatever it takes to help us win.”
The Valkyries have until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday to make one last cut and have an opening night roster of 12 players.
