The Golden State Valkyries have played 11 games and won more than they’ve lost. At 6-5, they sit in sixth in the standings and are a game better than their 5-6 start last season.

Even with the additions of Gabby Williams, Juste Jocyte and Kiah Stokes, the Valkyries led the league with nine returning players.

Through the first quarter of last season the Valkyries hadn’t gone through EuroBasket yet, were playing Julie Vanloo and Stephanie Talbot, who were waived midseason, while Temi Fagbenle, Monique Billings and Carla Leite were a big part of the team. Janelle Salaun had not played as much yet, either.

At the quarter mark of this season, the Valkyries seem a bit more complete, but still with plenty of questions. How should we grade the first 11 games?
