Notebook from 76-67 win against Liberty

  • Sabrina Ionescu came back to the Bay Area for the third time as a pro and on Sunday, she said it’s a game she looks forward to.

“The first game I look at when the schedule comes out is when do I get to go home, so I’m really excited,” Ionescu said. “We’ll have a lot of family here, and it will be nice to play in front of the home crowd.”

  • One of the most interesting notes from pregame media was Natalie Nakase mentioning that they have in-game minute restrictions for players.

  • In the fourth quarter the Ballhalla crowd had a steady “for the gays” chant, so Gabby Williams has created quite the legacy for herself in the Bay Area.
