Notebook from 76-67 win against Liberty
Sabrina Ionescu came back to the Bay Area for the third time as a pro and on Sunday, she said it’s a game she looks forward to.
“The first game I look at when the schedule comes out is when do I get to go home, so I’m really excited,” Ionescu said. “We’ll have a lot of family here, and it will be nice to play in front of the home crowd.”
One of the most interesting notes from pregame media was Natalie Nakase mentioning that they have in-game minute restrictions for players.
In the fourth quarter the Ballhalla crowd had a steady “for the gays” chant, so Gabby Williams has created quite the legacy for herself in the Bay Area.
