The Golden State Valkyries began their longest road trip of the season 2-0 with victories in Atlanta and Washington and have now won five contests in a row.
At 15-7, they are just half a game out of first place, trailing Minnesota and Las Vegas — two teams Golden State has not figured out yet this season.
But they are 15-2 against every other team in the league, including sweeping Atlanta and wins over playoff teams New York, Dallas, Indiana and Washington, propelling them into championship conversations.
