Notebook from Sunday’s practice
There was a Juste Jocyte sighting! The 20-year-old rookie practiced with the Valkyries for the first time. She said she wasn’t sure if she would play Monday against Connecticut, and head coach Natalie Nakase said it was “up to” Jocyte.
Cecilia Zandalasini practiced for the first time since sustaining a concussion on the May 9 opener at Seattle. Her status is still unclear.
“We know Ceci knows the game inside and out,” Nakase said. “But she looked good today.”
