After struggling in the front court for the first quarter of the season, the Valkyries have responded.

On Sunday morning, the team announced they signed center Nadia Fingall to a rest-of-season contract. They waived Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda to make room.

Mwenentanda was originally signed to a replacement contract the day before the regular season after the Valkyries announced that projected starting center Iliana Rupert was pregnant. Mwenentanda spent training camp with the Valkyries but had been waived.
